The hip can try and stop these songs from getting into hip fan hands, but they're just waaaaaay to good to be stopped. I think i've listened to Fly and Drop-Off 30 times each today...not that I have them...cause I don't...so don't PM me cause I don't have them.

in other news, who else is sitting around at 11:30 waiting for this Bellville setlist to be posted?

Me.

nice...think you could just post a fake one so I can go to bed soundly knowing they didn't play 38 years old.

Wow! What a show! Definatly the best show I have seen the hip put on. The sound was awesome and the crowd was great well.

They closed the show with "Long Time Running". Which to me was a perfect choice because of the great sound at this venue. The crowd was singing along for the whole song and you could tell Gord was lovin' it. At the end of the song Gord said. "I'll remember this one!"

I was second row center so it my view was awesome. Not sure if I could post a link to it or not but I got the whole encore song complete on video with my canon digicam in .avi format. Unfortunatly the built in mic on the camera wasn't good enough to keep the audio from distorting since it is so sensitive but still sounds decent enough to listen to.

If it's ok I'll post the link to download it from my ftp. If not, then no worries I'll just keep it to myself.

err...I don't think we're supposed to be posting these shows...

although it could be just the new stuff...could you just run through the setlist as you remember it? I want to sleep.

Thats awesome about Long time running , defiently well worth the wait ...definetly post the link for the song - its the new stuff they dont want posted
anymore reviews should be posted here, Thanks =>http://hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9272

I think it was just the new stuff..

I'd give you the setlist but to be honest I really only know the older songs. Hopefully someone else can help you with that soon so you can get to sleep. :-)

Well I think I'll have to put it on google video.. because it's a 250mb file and although I have enough storage and quite a bit of bandwidth with a 250mb file and me posting the link publicly I'm sure I would be at my 30gb monthly bandwidth limit in no time. Youtube has a 100mb file limit max but google video doesn't appear to, so I'll put it up there as soon as I can.. It will reencode it but it least I can get it on there.. They have to approve it on google video whereas you tube it's almost instant.

no order but here are the highlights: Twist My Arm, Daredevil, Titanic Terrarium, Long Time Coming, Dire Wolf, the new songs, they keep getting better and better, probably more but I have to be up in 3 hours

- dreyfuss - 06-22-2006

The reason I released Pittsburgh was because it was a free show, meaning a lot of people could have heard the 3 new songs, there also could have been other tapers there as well, some that might not know about this page and the bands requests,

Just so everyone knows, the rest of my shows from the summer fling are on the shelf until the fall.

It's gonna be a great fall for everyone's ears.

and Mav, sorry for putting it up without talking with you 1st, oh yeah and Mav don't forget "Your Up"!

Chris, Jamie, Aidrian, Trevor, Mark, Dave and everyone else, it was great meeting you/seeing you again/didn't we just spend last weekend together?/etc.

Goodnight
Steve

good work on the titanic foreshadowing... i couldn't believe they played it... i'm pretty sure i was yelling holy shit for the first 30 seconds of the song...

- Fleeter - 06-22-2006

What a great show. The first thing Gord said pointing at the crowd was "I'm in your fan club"...The sound was great! Some of the other tunes in the set list were Ahead by a Century, Gift Shop, Fully Completely...my ears are still ringing!

That was true. I can verify it.

Nope...all these shows, whether it be parts or in their entirety, are to stay "on the shelf" until the fall. Sorry kids.
