Predictions?

Tigers and Oakland.

Tigers in 6.

Cardinals and Mets.

I'll take the underdogs in both series. Cardinals in 7.

- VioletlightHeron - 10-09-2006

Tough decision

Oakland in seven, this is going to be the premiere matchup that everybody will be talking about for years to come.

Mets in five, I dont think Cardinals have the pitching to get them through the Mets powerhouse lineup.

- Lizard King - 10-09-2006

I think Oakland's pitching will see them through, I say Oakland in 5 or 6 and the Mets will barely get by St.Louis probably in 6 or 7 games.

Mets - A's in the World Series..

A's win!!

- fingernailsonhull - 10-10-2006

To be honest (while the mobs may hang me here) I would love to see the A's win the World Series...but I'm sticking with my preciction.

Its definitely time for change in NY, not just with the manager, dump that A-Rod he's useless in the playoffs, although I dont know why any team would want him and his salary.

A-Rod for Vernon Wells possible? I doubt Toronto will be able to sign Wells. The Yankees are on the hook for 16 mill/year for A-Rod and if the Jays could get the Yankees to eat 4 mill or so, would A-Rod be worth it for 12mill/year in Toronto? They don't have a shortstop. Wells will be asking for 12 or 13 mill a year. Just food for though. I'm not saying he's worth getting for Jays fans or anything, it's just a possibility.

I would too, they've been pretty consistently good for a while and on a pretty small budget too, hopefully Ricardi can continue building the Jays into what he built the A's into

Torre is staying.. http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/news_story/?ID=180361&hubname=

THANK GOD!

nobody is better suited for the job than him...

A-Rod better fucking start producing in October, or he's probably going to be lynched in Times Square...deservedly so....guy is an awesome ballplayer, but he's been awful in the playoffs since the Yankees beat up on the Sox in game 3 of the 2004 alcs...i just don't know anymore...

and i have a question for c-fer?

are you a proffesional douchebag? or is it just a hobby of yours...either way, it's certainly no hidden talent...eat a bowl of dicks you miserable cunt.

- cferneyh - 10-10-2006

Awwwww, poor baby can dish it out but can't take it.

What's your mailing address? We're weening my son off soothers - so I've got some extras I can send your way.

- The Darkest Canuck - 10-10-2006

your kid is probably diseased and contageous, so no thanks, i'll pass...BUT, i've got something for you to suck on though...and it's not something that i can mail to you either, i can only give it to you in person...you know you waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant it.

it's funny to see you bug me so much though, with the exception of the Phins...all my teams keep on finishing better than yours (although Miami and Dallas' records were probably close last year, refresh my memory)...and i think that's what really irks you, haha....

You are probably right - I'm sure some of the 391 teams that you claim to cheer for finish better than mine. But since I only cheer for one team per sport, I'm at a bit of a disadvantage.

Is that only because you now reside in the Lou?

Wow! You finally admit that you don't really cheer for a favourite team, just sports in general. Why'd you take so long? Now all of your bandwaggon hopping makes sense.
