I saw Alice In Chains on Tuesday, and it was also good, but I have to say, Sabbath was better, by a fair margin. But it's Black fucking Sabbath, I mean, it's not a fair fight to begin with. Brad from RATM was absolutely bananas on drums for Sabbath, he might be my new favourite drummer.

Cage the Elephant tonight at The Fillmore in Detroit.

Sam Roberts Band - March 28, 2014 in Grand Rapids, MI.

I am distressed to learn the lead guitarist for Cage the Elephant, Lincoln Parish, left the band in early November 2013 to start his own recording studio and produce records for other bands. His guitar licks are incredible. They attracted me to their music. We'll see how his replacement does tonight.

We're going to see them tomorrow night at Sound Academy in Toronto. Can you give us the set times and what time the show ended?

Did not know Lincoln had left the band, that's too bad, he was a great contributor. Pack A.D. is opening for Cage in Toronto, looking forward to that as well. Two ladies assaulting a guitar and drum kit, always interesting.

There were three warm up bands playing at the Detroit, Cage the Elephant show. Cage came on at 10:30pm and they played 70 minutes. Good show with all the songs sounding very close to how they are on the album. Nick Bockrath is the current lead guitarist playing with the band. He sounded very similar to how Lincoln Parish played.
