Don't worry.....I'm sure you'll find another bandwagon to hop on before the night is through. I'm looking forward to your Tigers...or A's avatar.

you really need to work on your insults...maybe spice em up with little truth here and there...nah, that's not your style, you go for the completely unfounded bullshit...
a) I haven't cheered for any baseball team (Team Canada excluded) other than the Yankees since the Jays won their last WS title
b) i've never changed my current avatar...which is non-sport related...
c)you don't even contribute anything to this thread, or add anything at all to the playoff discussion...which leads me to believe...YOU ARE A BANDWAGON BASEBALL PLAYOFFS FAN!
oh and d) HABS OWN THE LEAFS! BIATCH!

Looks like Torre is on his way out... http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/news_story/?ID=180210&hubname=
Its definitely time for change in NY, not just with the manager, dump that A-Rod he's useless in the playoffs, although I dont know why any team would want him and his salary.
-
The Darkest Canuck - 10-08-2006
Texas still pays a lot of his salary though, and apparently, he doesn't recieve the most money from the Yankees organization per year, SO, it's not impossible...
i don't really agree with getting rid of Torre, i don't think he's been the problem at all...
what they need (and have needed these past 3 years now) is another GOOD starting pitcher...Mussina and Wang are awesome, BUT, Johnson isn't really all that reliable any more (despite throwing really well from time to time)...please please please please please SIGN ZITO, BRIAN CASHMAN!
other than thelack of depth pitching, and the whole A-Rod thing, i don't really see anything wron with the Yankees line-up...if they get rid of A-Rod they're gonna need to pick somebody up with as much power and RBI potential...and that could be tricky...oh well, it could be worse, they could be the Red Sox! LOL! hey, that gives me an idea, they should see if Boston still wants A-Rod...and steal Manny from Boston...put him beside Damon...Dh him a bit...hehe.

So, if I have this right, once you jumped off the Jays' bandwagon, you jumped on the Yankees' bandwagon and you've been there ever since! What a fan!
Classic!
How 'bout those Dolphins!

The Darkest Canuck - 10-08-2006
for the gagillionth time (forgetful in your old age eh? well, w/e you do don't forget to wear your depends), i'll explain that i've cheered for the Yankees since i attended my first MLB game at Yankee stadium in 1990 (ironically enough against the Tigers, for those keeping track that's 16/21 years, that's as long as i've been watching baseball)...i cheered for the Jays when they were in the playoffs...as did THE ENTIRE COUNTRY...i never stopped cheering for the Yankees...i'll explain it so that even you can understand...remember last year when the Leafs missed the playoffs, and you had to start cheering (don't deny it, we all know you have a hard on for french guys) for the habs? it was kinda like that...which brings me to my next point...
at least i'm not a retarded leafs fan such as yourself, how bout those Habs? BITCH!
