Greetings - I'm very new here to hipbase and this forum. Does anybody now if cameras are permitted at hip shows? I'm going to the show tonight at the Emprie Theatre....it's gonna rock.

Cameras are permitted - no long lenses. No video cameras are not permitted for this show..

So how are you getting your video gear in???? Or is your double negative meant to confuse some of us into thinking that we can't bring our gear when we really can??

seems strange that we were able to film the concert that they released on dvd.whats special about this show?

Perhaps we weren't supposed to be able to film the Toronto DVD concert, but security didn't get the memo...

This show is going to be great. The Empire is an amazing venue to see any show and the fact that the hip is playing here has got everybody buzzing - I'll post some of my pics tomorrow on hipbase...

If there's no cameras then there's got to be a reason for this. I know MAv mentioned bringing his own crew to film the show. I'd be pretty happy if this show was realeased to the fans professionally and I'm sure there would be tons of people willing to pay for such a thing.

What about recording audio? Is this allowed tonight?
