I don't like the venue in Salamanca. I live north of Buffalo and I am choosing to make the trip to Rochester on a Tuesday (work at 8 am the next morning) over going to the Salamanca venue on a weekend.
The bad things - The ticket prices tend to be quite high compared to other shows. The whole room is flat, meaning it's not a good view from everywhere. Shows seem to get cut short there as well, they're trying to hurry people out of the show to get gambling (I once almost missed a concert because the casino didn't tell us an opening act had been cut and the headliner went on at 7pm so make sure you are very certain when The Hip will take the stage).
The good things - I've always thought the sound was great at Seneca Casino shows. There's a huge free parking ramp. The drive down is really pretty.

Did Syracuse too and now that is a great venue!

And at least it is a 2,000 seat venue and not a Canada show with 20,000 people.

Minneapolis is $30 so I'm guessing it will be in that neighbourhood. I'm interested to see where the pre-sale link takes us tomorrow; Ticketmaster or the venue's site. I don't anticipate tickets being too tough to get for this show. One thing I was curious about is capacity for the Fargo Theatre?

For Rochester, ticketmaster has a price range of $39.85-$69.85, but it doesn't list what the price difference is for. I was wondering if it was just balcony/floor making the difference. Have a bunch of friends who want to go, but not for $79 after fees.

I've seen 591 on a fargo theatre website. Amazingly intimate.

for those looking for Fargo or Billings, no ticketmaster, they do all of their tickets through http://www.tickets300.com so look for tomorrow's links to send you in that direction, the shows are listed, but the price range isn't up

Compared to $55 at the fillmore San Fran, $55 in Vegas, $51 in Hollywood. Too bad Roch is the show that works best for me

$80 to see the Hip in a great venue isn't too bad, imo. Although I noticed the Syracuse show starts at 9:00, where the other dates have earlier start times. I wonder what that means. Still going to hit it up, though.

No Conneticut or Jersey (Atlantic city) shows this time through and only one NY night. Not complaining just an observation. Big Thank you for a Sat night show in New york city, and a night off the following day hopefully the boys are not rushing off the stage and the crowd will be partying!
Guess it's going to be NY Philly and Clifton Park. Bring it on!
Anybody think there will be a second leg in the US?
By the time they do Canada "Plan A" will be so tight from these 25 shows!
Been waiting for this since 09

Its probably the best concert venue in New Brunswick suited for The Hip. Harbour Station is a great arena in Saint John, but the crowd always sucks at Saint John shows.
