The Heron Outside - 01-27-2007
How can you not totally prefer the first one? You've got (As of now) my top 3 tunes in a row...Grace, Locked and Three Pistols...
Although that Poets/Summer opening combo is quite cool, y'know, that first one is a lock...

Thats a no brainer for me, no.1 is waaay better. But I wouldnt complain if I got no.2, you cant lose with the Hip.
-
laliber - 01-27-2007
while Escape and Music @ Work is a better finish…
Nautical to Fiddler's Green
Hundredth to Pigeon
Locked to 3 pistols
Give me SL #one

I am drunk so no comment.
Also if you make a setlist with The Dark Canuck I will vote for it.

I love Dire Wolf, one of their best ever for sure.
And only 4 chords all the way through, which makes it even more impressive, such good melody and lyrics. The solo is beautiful also.
kind of similar to Nautical.
And the only Hip song my wife likes! haha!

that's what she said.
"Dire Wolf" and "Escape" make it harder, but I'd also go with #1 because of Locked, Fully, On the Verge

Maybe I am taking those for granted as I saw all 3 Monday in T-Bay!

I'll take #2. Escape is my favourite tune; I've only heard it once. Ditto for Dire Wolf. I also like how that setlist touches on most of their albums. It's got a good mix. Although passing up Pigeon would be hard as I've never heard that one live.

I'm with you. (Although, Stick My Music At Work, Lake Fever, Silver Jet and Dire Wolf in there and we're golden!) :thumb:

You mean just the later albums, right?
#2 has no songs from the first 4 albums.

I'd pick #2 just to hear Daddy, Escape, and Dire Wolf. But I'd be happy with #1 as well. It's the Hip. Ya can't really go wrong with either one.
