I read the post where you have talked about tattoos before - but there was never any posting of pictures. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'd love it if those of you who have gotten Hip related tattoo's wouldn't mind posting a picture of them. I thought it'd be a cool thing to share not to mention, I've been riding the edge lately about getting one & I know it would be somewhat hip related.

I have long considered a HIP tattoo and my lil icon from IBE has been a major consideration.

But with the box set's arrival I feel like getting 5 of those birds from the cover along my wrist. For various cheezy reasons like a bird for each member; and just in the last couple years of my life I have felt like a bird leaving the nest so to speak, and the Hip's music has been there throughout the whole process.

Still nothing inked yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had this done before december.

For those thinking of getting tattoos, just remember to ask around a lot, do a lot of research on the tattoo you want, who's going to do it, and stuff like that.

or save some effort watch an episode of INKED drink a bottle of scotch and head over to the sketchy part of town.

I too have been considering a Hip tattoo as of late...I got my first tattoo just a few months ago (a Chief Wahoo on my right calf, looks exactly like my avatar, but I have no camera, sorry). Ever since I've been hooked and wanting to get more. I'll probably go with an Ohio State tat next, but the Hip would probably come after that. I've been thinking about doing the canadian leaf with TTH in it that is on the front of the Magnetic Hill t-shirt. The only draw back is that I'm not actually canadian, so it might be looked at a little strangely...but I just couldn't imagine a Hip tattoo without a canadian/hockey reference in there somewhere...very interested to hear what others think about this...

gr8 idea but then again its ur body! does show an aweful swell dedication to the band tho!!! your call....hockey and canadian would definatly be in mine for sure!!! thats if I got one..... damn how old do u have to be

Didn't someone here post a pic of a hip tattoo once? On their calf I belive, the Hip gargoyle from back in the FC days is what it was.

I've been working for almost a year on my design, but cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to incorperate the hip. I want too, lots, but am stumped. THe main design is a stargazer lily with the vines curling outward. It will take up the better portion of my lower back...suggesstions are always welcome!
