Ok, I'll admit it, although I do enjoy it, I find it highly annoying. Specially since I am on dial up and sometimes I'll type in the URL and go do something else and forget about it and then hear music from nowhere LOL

I'd love you know what you all think. So vote away folks!

I say keep it. I know it's there so if I'm already listening to something I just click the "off" button as soon as it loads. The best thing about it is that you can say "go to thehip.com" when someone asks you about their sound.

There is an option to turn the audio off right on the main page...that's all you need to do.

Worst poll ever? I asked about friggin' trees last week...

As for the music, I hardly ever visit the official site anymore due to it's recent irrelevance, but when I do, I turn the loop off.

Maybe the better question is, though not a poll, is what would make the site more relevant? What should they do for a new site?

They (Or somebody) should certainly update the site more often. I'm not asking for a blog, but what's the point of a web presence if you're only updating every three months (Or even once a year.) You might as well buy a billboard.

I'd like to see old press photos, and hell, give Billy Ray a digicam to wear around his neck on the next tour. Let him shoot behind the scenes and from the side of the stage and see what he comes up with... if not him, then that omni present blonde woman could do it.

And of course... a message board, maybe just link to this one.

Their not Web Developers they are musicians, they make music. Would you rather them update their url more offten or be spending time writing and recording new tunes.
