The wreck of the Titanic probably spawned more songs than any other wreck. The Edmund Fitzgerald probably spawned the best song.

I did my speech in Grade 8 on the Lusitania. I went pretty far too. I think the Titanic disaster was over-hyped.

I did ALL of my speeches in college about the Titanic and I have done mulitmedia presentations for schools also. I always was fascinated with the ship and it all came to a head when I did those speeches around the time the movie came out and I have PLENTY of problems with the movie!

^ If the disaster in Speed 2 was real, I want to change my vote. That was intense. Keanu Reeves really made me believe that he could stop that boat. Probably the greatest actor of our time, after Tempest Bledsoe.
