I honestly don't.

I'm guessing I won't really miss it until May rolls around and the nightly playoff game is a Paulie Shore movie instead...

I think I take the regular season for granted anyway, it was always just there. On in the background during a Saturday night, either at houses, bars or where ever... never really paid it much attention.

Anybody going through withdrawl?
Well, I've been working 42 hours a week in addition to a full third- and fourth-year course load, so I honestly haven't had time to care. If there had been games, I wouldn't be able to watch them. I finish U at Christmas, so I might miss it a whole lot more in the spring when I have a few days off or something and there's no hockey, no baseball, no nothin' worth watchin'.

I still side with the owners though...
i really miss it , especially with how bad the Bills SUCK!
I personally don't miss it at all... I don't know, I suppose I'd like to watch the Leafs on a Saturday night, but I wouldn't say I miss it. The NFL is diverting my interest, and the NBA is starting soon, the baseball playoffs in full swing; There are other options.

But i think when theres a -25 windchill outside and theres no hockey, something will feel strange.
Well the season would just be kicking off about now anyways, so its a bit premature....but more than anything Im going to miss the expendable income that a part time job affords me.
:nooooo
i miss it more and more each passing day
Funny, but I was having a conversation with a co-worker on this very topic this morning...I don't miss it...yet...

However, when the FAN 590 reminded me that the Leafs would be scheduled to open up in New Jersey this Friday, then host the Sens Saturday, it hit me...it's going to be a very LONG, COLD winter...:nooooo

I really miss it. Not as much as I thought I would though. I think the World Cup helped. Big Grin
i miss it alot, but good thing for NHL 2005...addicted now
Ask me in February when there's no more baseball, NFL/CFL football and all there is on is basketball. Nothing wrong with basketball but I like a sports variety and of course, NHL hockey.

As others may have said, I have my NHL 2005 for pc and I can spark up a few games in a night but of course, not the same Wink

I miss it. I miss checking out the boxscores to see how my pool team(s) did. I miss wondering which month Lindros will get knocked out for the season. I miss laughing at the Rag$ and their pompous all-knowing GM. I miss Bob Cole calling Zdeno Chara "Big Chara". I miss laughing at Cujo's stats. I miss laughing at how much the Stars decided to pay Bill Guerin. I miss the annual "when will Ted Nolan get hired again" story. I miss the annual "this is the year the Sedins will break out" story. I miss watching Sundin being forced to play with on over-the-hill winger and Darcy Tucker while everyone and their momma knows he should be playing with Mogilny. I miss wondering why Doug Weight was so much better when he wasn't paid nearly as much. I miss Mario whining to the City of Pittsburgh about how they need to make him rich(er) by building his team a new arena. I miss Jaromir Jagr mailing it in.

OK, some of that list included sarcasm, but I do miss it. Immensely. And its only Oct 12. Sigh.
nope, not yet, LET'S GO YANKEES LET'S GO *clap clap*!
The city of Pittsburgh does need a new arena! It's freakin falling apart.

Perhaps, but why should the citizens of Pittsburgh be expected to pay for it?
