I got a Canon eos 400d.


Wanted a decent digital camera for a while now, to start getting into photography properly. So I saved up my pennies, cut down on beer (a little bit) and now I've got the end result!

Of course, I forgot to buy a memory card, which was dumb of me, so I can't have too much fun for a few days yet...

Very nice, Matt. :thumb: The Canon Digital SLR's are top notch. My mates got one, and we've used it a few times while we've been climbing (some of the results can be seen at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.everythingbehind.com/sandstone">www.everythingbehind.com/sandstone</a><!-- w --> ).

My Dad and I swear by Canons. He's had loads, and I inherited one of these little beauties when I started my Photography A-level...



I've had many happy hours spent with that little gem. One of the best Camera's ever made I reckon. I don't use it much now, as I have a little Powershot 520 which seems to do everything I need. I do miss the whole film/darkroom process though.

Yeah, I know what you mean... Kids today miss out on the whole experience of developing their pictures and such like.

The camera is an absolute beauty though, I've already started to have a play, and I can't wait to really go and use it!

Nice work. i just bought this little devil a few weeks ago and have been very happy thus far.

Sure they do but now they have the whole "Digital Post-Processing" area to learn. Photoshop has spawned a completely new breed of digital artist/photographer.

Nah you're safe when the lights go out...it's when they turn them back on that you have to be concerned!

Ahh, it wasn't just me then. :lol: The dark room at my school was hormone central a lot of the time. It must be the red light... :?
