and suddenly the song title Under Zenith comes up, while I'm reading one of Ben's posts.

Freaky!
Ahh, I've been rumbled! Wink My username was taken from that very song (Naveed's a great album!).

That is a bit of a coincidence though!
it was indeed, and like you say it is a very good album!

Unfortunately, aside from 1 or 2 good tracks, it's been full steam ahead on the Crap Train ever since Naveed.

That's too bad too. Clumsy was decent but the majority of everything since then has been........... irritating isn't the right word, but it's the first word that comes to mind.

Naveed is an amazing album/song!!! AMAZING!!!!!!
Yep, Naveed is unquestionably the best work that OLP has done.
naveed is indeed a great album since mike turner left the band they have not been the same,

my wife went to high school with Raine, and Duncan + there was a kid named Naveed in thier class

Ron
While Naveed is definitely my favorite OLP album, i have still liked the majority of their albums post-Naveed. The only real exception is 2002's Gravity, which i really don't care for. Spiritual Machines i'm not big on either, but there are a couple of tracks from it i like. Clumsy, Happiness, and Healthy in Paranoid Times...i liked all 3 of those though.
Naveed is their best for sure. I am a big fan of their latest album. I am always up for any OLP but Gravity was a bust.

Picked up Raine's solo (4 track) EP Love, Hope, Hero and I enjoy it. Very different, and creative.

He has 2 of the 4 songs up there...have a listen and see what you think:

Personally the other 2, One Second Chance and Sex,Love, Honey. They were up, but now seem to be down. Probably available on iTunes. Good stuff.

I think Mike Turner is in a new band now, Fair Ground?? Not sure if they are any good, haven't heard any material yet.

Agreed. I was never a fan of the band, but I've always loved that song.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. The later albums do have some decent tracks on them, but they just aren't as consistant, and don't 'flow' as well as Naveed. They were great live though (funnily enough, they opened with Naveed which was fantastic! Big Grin)
I'm the same as a few of you guys. Just can't bring myself to like these guys. However, Naveed and Starseed were great songs. It's weird to me that I really like these two songs but can't seem to find anything else but some whining. Maybe I haven't looked deep enough. Any suggestions??

Hmm, not really. If you don't even reallt like 'Naveed' (the album) all the way through, with the exception of 'Clumsy', then I doubt there's much else you'd enjoy.
I think Naveed and Spiritual Machines are great albums, HIPT is really good as well. Happiness.. is probably their worst album if you ask me.
Spiritual Machines is certainly high up on the list of my all time favorite albums.
