Haven't been around here in a while but thought I'd check in to get some gossip re the new tour before I see the boys in Sudbury on Saturday.
Well I'm excited to say that the sudbury show will be my 36th (3 dozen!) time seeing the Hip. Now I have to push for 40 and find another band to follow! J/K
I'm really looking forward to it as I love the new album.
PS - you guys are some serious fans and I always get a kick out of the threads and hip facts you can find around here. Keep it up.

As a Cincy resident, I am very curious about the origins of your sig.
Care to Divulge?
A bunch of buddies drove down from Waterloo Ont when we were in University to see TTH there. It was Sept of 1998 I believe but I can't recall the venue right now.
It was very memorable because of the small venue and we were front row centre and got to meet the guys after the show. Even got ont the bus!
That's why I say it's worth the drive to Cincy! I've seen them all over the US but that was the best experience.

Sure was.
The venue is Bogarts, located on "Short Vine", just off the campus of the University of Cincinnati, amongst some dumpy shops, bars, and tat-parlors.
I remember thinking that the small, subdued crowd of about 300 people was likely the cause of a short set (17-18 songs including the encore, maybe?), and a hurried, uninspired performance that night. I also
distinctly remember wondering if it might be the last time they ever played Cincinnati.
Unfortunately, it appears that my worries were well-founded.
20 bucks says "Sudbury Saturday Night" is coming out HARD at the show.
