The Comfort Suites, Hyatt, Hampton, Days Inn and Holiday Inn are all within walking/staggering distance from the Town Ballroom.
Even the Admas Mark is not that far.
Check out the http://www.townballroom.com/ site to a way to win tix.
What a joke, why didn't they just sell all of the tickets? No one goes to that place unless there is a concert...I guess I just answered my own question.
Not exactly bargain drinks at the ballroom either.
Well it did only look like they were giving away 2 tickets thats all if they had like 100 left then I think I'd be a little pissed

Yeah they are not giving away 100 - but a pair everytime the Sabres score.
Well, now that I think about it - they are playing the Leafs - I guess they could possibly give 100 tickets away. :thumb:
So does anyone know about where is a good place that's close to Harro East in Rochester that I can get a bite and a brew before the game. I just don't want it to be too far away because I'll probably park and walk right when I get downtown and it will probably be cold. I was hoping for a place right on Chestnut or Andrews where the venue is but I'll settle for anything. Just don't feel like chancing a long wait at the Dinosaur BBQ or something of that like.
i believe benigans is in the clarion hotel on main street they have parking under the hotel i think it is also public parking, it might be call the main street grille according to mapquest it will take 2 minutes to get there from the hotel\\\

head east on main street --------------- toward south ave
turn left on north chestnut street total distance 0.49 miles time 2 minutes by car iam sure walking would be longer and it is not always the nice of places on main street don't go alone with the cold the troube may stay away

Not sure where Harro is, but in Rochester, guaranteed wait for a table @ Dino. Last time there, anded up at a place called Beil (sic) Street Cafe, or something similar, fantastic. Great food, beer and band.

In Buffalo, the place in the hotel is a TGIF. You can do much better than that by taking a little walk on Chippewa, Franklin and/or Pearl.
Laughlins, Papaya, and many other places with bbq, pizza and beer.
I eat at Main Street (formerly bennigans) every week before my class at the Metro Center for Brockport. I really don't want to walk from there (SKETCHY SKETCHY) but perhaps I will end up there. We need to have a place for the hipbasers to meet.
Happy hour at Papaya...$2 ALL bottles, half price apps, such as Thai Calamari, Vietnamese summer rolls w/ shrimp & chicken dumplings.

After 7:00 move closer to the venue to Brinks, which has an all right beer selection.

Both places are on Chippewa.
$2 all bottles...i love the u.s.!
my friend booked us a room via priceline. alas, i can't remember the name. will have to ask tonight.
four days!!
Bass, Bluemoon, Magic Hat, Blue, some Thai beers +.
And the calamari kicks ass.
what time is happy :jump hour?

we gotta hit this place for sure.

just found out we're staying at something called the hyatt regency.
anyone been to the townballroom before is there good parking near to the venue
