OK - I give up - I finally figured out what a boot is.
But what the hell is a kangaroo scrutum?
I thought it was a misspelling of scotum:

It was. You obviously know me better than I thought, or what my wife is likely to buy me for christmas :-)
As an excuse I have worked 6 shifts out of 7 since christmas day, dealt with 4 cardiac arrests, 6 fitting adults and one child, god knows how many chest pains (with only one MI, the rest were chest infections, take a deep breath people! If the pain gets worse YOU AREN'T ABOUT TO DIE!!) and a stupid number of people who think that if you get incredibly drunk, you have a god given right to call a blue light taxi...
So on the whole, I am quite impressed I actually managed to see the keyboard to type :-)
I also got a cool t-shirt of the electrical pathways of the heart, as a parody of the london underground map.
I am such a geek.

I thought it was a misspelling of scotum:
which in itself would be an inventive way of spelling scrotum.
[yessir; 9 hrs and 46 minutes into 2007 and I'm policing spelling]
