I don;t know about you, but I think that GD's hat is the anti-kyrptonite..or whatever..you get my gist.. I watched a bunch of dvd's tonight and I tell ya, the hat makes a huge difference in the "marketability" (big finger gesture there) of the Hip. I wish they made "that Night in Toronto" on this tour....just because of the HAT!

Am I crazy?
His hat is very, very sexy. =].
you're crazy!!! Tongue
i prefer his head...

i know what i said, and i am aware of how gay that sounds, but i stand by my statement!
I say "it's the hat". Gord works it well :thumb:
I think Gord is marketable no matter what he does. I'd almost prefer the DVD from this album tour because I think it's got better songs, nothing to do with how Gord is dressed. The stuff off IBE just wasn't as marketable as WC is...
I was wearing that kind of hat before anyone. I started that trend, i swear.

I have a very similar hat to him, as well, which I wear occasionally. I actually wore it when I saw them in Stratford, too. Tongue
I'm not a big fan of that hat.

Maybe a short stint back to the bearded FC days or even one step further to mullet days!

But please not that hat!
it may be more of a skullet if gord tried to grow one again
lol! i bet he could find a way to make it work

"everything is bleak, it's the middle of the night, you're all alone and the dummies might be right, you're lookin like a twirp, my mullet at work, my mullet at work, it's my mullet at work, my mullet at wooooooooooooooooork"
LOL!

Mullet power!

THAT'S how they'll crack the American market.

Watch out Tennessee!
I had to make my first post a complete condemnation of this hat. The man who "singlehandedly made male-pattern baldness fashionable" is now supremely emo. Much of my respect for him was that he made poetry ballsy. most poets are huge emo weirdos, he (among few others) could pull it off.

hahaha great post
hes gone years without the hat, its not exactly his superhero utility belt. No hat it is...

PS - prolonged hat wear could cause baldness, something which gord clearly has to worry about.
