Nice work!
Now let's get those signatures!
I'm gonna forward that petition off to my email list. Let's get those numbers up!
Conan, is the best show and the most realistic chance for the Boys to get on.

agreed..i had my fingers crossed the hip would have been on his show when he came to canada
My signature is added. :thumb:
I supplied my autograph to the petition. I'd also like to see the Hip perform on SNL for their U.S. promotion. It would be a great way to rekindle old memories of performing there years ago, plus they would get to play two songs, instead of one. (Probably In View and Yer Not the Ocean/Family Band)
I think it's about time they were on SNL again. Someone get Akroyd on the line!
I emailed johnny and Rob this question would they considering going on late night talk shows such as Letterman or Connan when they were taking emails on Canoe however my question wasn't picked. I too wonder can Mav shed some light on this question.

they played 2 songs back in 95, Grace Too and Nautical Disaster
I love how quick this all got rolling! I leave for work and come back home to find a list of 40+ signatures. I will pass this around to friends to sign.

Awesome work V! :thumb:
Signed. :thumb:

But I agree with Valente, we could send the petition out to multiple shows - that is IF the band wants to do the shows... though can't imagine they wouldn't; it would be good exposure in the American market especially for album and ticket sales.
This could be an answer as to why they are waiting so late for the U.S. release. Pump the release in Canada---tour-----Pump U.S.---tour.
only down for signing for Letterman, SNL, or Conan...

preferrably Letterman though, somebody should explain to Dave that if he loves Pearl Jam (which he does...), he might like the hip...

Also, Downie/Letterman could be the best interview EVER!

Agreed. I was referring to the fact that they would only get to play one song on late night talk shows, but they would have the advantage of playing two songs on SNL. :thumb:
