Is that wall grafitti "The Hip Live Between Us" still up or has it been painted over? I would like to see it if it's still around.
I was in K-town last fall, and made a special trip to see if it was still there...as of September 2002, it still was (it's harder to find on the wall than you think)...

Thanks Mike S.
I lived in Kingston for four years during my university days there. On and off you see the guys from the band. You see them at the bars, in stores and in bank lines. They really try to keep a low profile... When you do go talk to them, they are more than happy to chat and sign something if you want... The craziest thing for me was that Bobby Baker lived around the block from my house. I would be walking to class and he would be hanging out on his front porch (sometimes jamming on his guitar) or loading the kids in the car.
Hi:
I'm a hometown girl! Glad to show fans the "WALL"
Happy to have found this web site, cause I'm missing the henhouse.
Anyone know where it went?
Anyone here from the HH?

Hey folks, I'm going to be in Kingston for the next couple days. If I have time I might try and find "The Hip Live Between Us" wall graffiti (which I have called Hip Mecca). I read on the Live Between Us site that it's at the corner of King and Princess, but I was wondering if anybody could give me more specific directions.

Thanks,

Graham
from the king and princess intersection, i believe you have to go down king a little bit (about 20 metres maybe) until you find an alley on the left that leads to a tattoo shop. its a HUGE painting on the one wall of the alley.
If memory serves, it's on the right hand side (facing the tattoo place) about half way up the wall close to the entranceway to the alley (i.e. from the road)...

Considering everything else there is to see in K-town, I find it funny that "the wall" has become such a landmark!

Or you could sweet talk a "LandMark" tour guide from the area.
I have the low down story straight from the horse's mouth.
Well Davis wrote me the directions and the story behind the graffitii
