I was on livehip.com and it said they had cd's of old hip shows. It also said that you had to make a donation to a charity to get these cd's. I'm really new at this boot thing and I don't really know who to contact or anything. If anyone can help me, it would be a huge help. The shows I'm looking for are the one have listed below. Thanks  Go HIP!!
yes most of time we have to make a donation to charity, not that i'm against helping out from time to time but the good old days of the tree's at livehip have come to pass when all that money got involved. and hey peter, your a cool dude and i'm not saying youv've been corupted by all that cash commin in but,i think most fans miss doin the tree's and spreadin the music(like me) and ya a bid fund riaser every 3 or 4 months is cool but all the time,is a little excessive. me for 1, i've got 4 kids a mortage a car bill, and still need to buy my blank cdr's. I'm pretty positive these huge institions like the spca and camp trillium will not run out of money if we don't don a fund riaser evry 2 weeks or month. I really apologize if i sound cunty,i'm not meaning to sound that extreme. just needed to voice my opinions surrounding all this. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Okay, and in return, I don't mean to sound 'cunty' either, but, if you don't want to take up this offer, then simply, DON'T. You make it sound as if Peter is making a ton of money doing this, but yet in reality, he is giving up alot of his own time, burning these dvd's to help us out..and help these charities out..which I may add, DO need donations. That is what keeps them up and running, and they certainly aren't basking in the 'profits'.
So, because your post was misleading in alot of ways, I wanted to stand in Peter's defense, and in defense of the charities that he is contributing to. This is not a money making scheme, it is SIMPLY a way of sharing amazing dvd's with other fans for a small contribution back to society.
well not to sound 'cunty' but getting back to the question, peter is in fact the person who runs livehip.com. i would imagine his email address is on his site, and you can contact him for details on his old shows. also, i wouldnt mind copying some shows for you, so have a look at my site (see below), and if you send me the blank cds and return postage, i'd be glad to copy as many as you want at no charge.
i knew i'd get a healthy response :thumb: i know to the bottom of my heart that peter is givin up a ton and a half of his time to do what he's doin, all i'm saying is i miss the days of the tree's. kinda catchy that word cunty, lol, got bean and highway to use it. sorry didn't mean to sound nasty before if i did i apologize to all you beautiful Hipsters with your beautiful hair.,       Don't worry be happy
Sounds good to me  :thumb: Yes, you're right, the word is very catchy.
I prefer sending money in a regualr size envelope, and in return getting my bubble wraped envelope filled with dvd's and cd's. It makes it way easier and charity is good. Plus I am a huge fan of Peter's for the countless hours he has put into this. I'm just glad someone has taken the time to do this for all of us hip fans. If you want free shows there are ftp sites out there. Plus there are alot of people willing to do b&p's if you ask.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have only 2 kids and they seem like 4. But, thank god they are healthy! Peter does the things that I personally cant find the time to do.... providing a means to donate to a great cause. It's hard now a days to walk out the door without dropping $40-$50. Getting great music for a great cause is a no-brainer.
BTW, my wife's picture is next to the word "cunty" in the dictionary. :thumb:
I take it she never reads anything on hipbase
thank god she's into erasure.....

what a horrible thing to say about your own wife! If you're kidding, its pretty tasteless, and if you're serious, then why the hell are you married to her?
Sorry to rant, but I am married as well and cannot imagine a scenario in which i would feel compelled to write such a mean thing about her on a message board, whether I was being serious or not.
memo to self: do not open a comedy club in a state where drinking and smoking is considered immoral. But, oh the many different wives you can have.
From a man who has loved his wife for almost more years than most kids have been able to shoot a load....... :thumb:
could you possibly pile on any more cliches about Utah? have you ever even been here??
I'm not looking to initiate some sort of "war" here, but regardless of what you say about your wife now, your "cunty" comment was disgraceful. And to follow it up with some foul reference about how old kids are when they gain the ability to ejaculate? Don't open a comedy club *anywhere.* you're not funny. You're disgusting, shallow and immature, but you're not funny. Contrary to your feeble-minded stereotypes about Utah, humor is every bit as appreciated here as anywhere else. And I'm not even going to bother commenting on your idiotic takes about smoking and drinking in Utah. It's just plain ridiculous. I will, however, remind you that A) polygamy exists all over the country, B) it's illegal all over the country including Utah, and C) if you're really stupid enough to cast broad overgeneralizations over the population of an entire state based on a practice that the vast, vast minority engage in, than there's no hope for you.
I've lived all over the country, and Utah really is not that different. Unless you've spent a few years here, you simply wouldn't be able to know that.
You know, I gotta go with Brian on this one. Not just because he is one of my tougher and grittier defencemen, but he seems to have a bit of head on his shoulders.
But what do I know, I'm just a Swedish centre.
Mats.
