Ok, I'm not looking to cause an uproar. I'm not looking to stir the pot and get everyone all riled up. So if this turns into a blaze in a fireworks factory, I'm sorry in advance.

I frequent another forums that is mostly made up of an older generation (40+) group of Americans. Time and time again, I've been labeled the "young canadian hippie" that's far too liberal for their likings. We've managed to discuss everything one shouldn't discuss on online forums: politics, wars, Mexico/American fences, etc. This is now the new thing we're chewing on:

Someone posted the link and told everyone to "Wake Up". Well, it was my opinion that the website wasn't exactly painting the Muslim religion in the best light. And I tried to explain that perhaps not all Muslims were terrorist extremists.

Anyway, I'm just wondering what everyone thinks about this site and sites like it. They (members of the forums) seem to be very quick to tell me I'm crazy. Maybe it's a generation gap. I just think it's propaganda.

I'm in that "40+" group but have little to nothing in common with most Americans of my generation. Any person, group, or site with a Gus mentality (us against them) is a root cause of the problem and can't possibly be part of any solution.

I'm with you; it's all textbook proselytizing and propaganda.
