Thursday July 3rd Gord and TCOM are playing a free show in buffalo at Lafayette Square a crowd of 16-18,000 maybe even more considering independence day is the next day.The Show starts at 5pm with Hawksley Workman opening ... Also that same night the buffalo bisons baseball team is having a fireworks display ,I believe the ballpark is fairly close to where the concert is taking place...
You are right on Ryan. :thumb: The ball park is just down the street. If any of you kids are going, I suggest getting there early. Tickets for concessions don't start till 5, show at 5:15/:30 (I think) but there are plenty of places to visit in the meantime. Tickets are $2.50 US (usually one ticket per beer/hot dog/burger/pop or whatever is there). No outside coolers/bottles. Expect to pay about $8 US for parking close to the show. I can't wait!

Also opening for Gord this Thursday is my stepsons' step-father, Mike Criscione. Great exposure for him (a local talent). Can't wait for Thursday!

Whenever I have to go downtown, I park in the Chippewa district and just hop over a couple blocks to Main Street and take the above ground subway system. It's free, and it's less headaches. But right downtown near the event, there are a ton of parking lots as well. You pay dearly to park there, but...

i park in the mohawk ramp, on mohawk near washington...its i think $7 but its fairly close to the square.
