I'm looking forward to seeing how much effort they put into the new stage production. I kind of thought they would stay away from arenas because of the pressure to do something special like u2 / Bon Jovi / Chili Peppers.

Even Pearl Jam threw in some lasers on the last tour which was a nice surprise.

I know we're all there for the music but I'd like to have something nice to look at also.

ya, U2, RHCP, and TOOL had crazy elaborate stage/light shows on their most recent tours...i doubt the hip will have anything too spectacular...but who cares really...it's THE HIP! they should just hang a big Canadian Flag behind them and let'r rip!

Take a page from ACDC and have a huge inflatable Tom Thompson rise up out of Canoe Lake backdrop during Three Pistols… :lol:

I hope they don't do that. Aside from the fact that they have come really cool possibilities with their album art, a CDN flag would be super-tacky.

I don't mind a few lights here and there, but nothing too fancy. I'm there for the Hip and the Music...everything else is just gravy

i was a fan of the video effects during Are we Family, the girl, just added to the song beautifully

see, i've never seen pics of that, they played Sudbury outdoors in the summer that year...which was cool too..."THERE'S MUSIC IN THE WOODS....LOOK, I'M A BEAR!" lol

I was going to say that I thought (from what I've seen) of the 2004 Arena shows was really cool. Nothing too over the top, but just a nice level of visual to give a new level to the live songs.

Bobcageon was sweet at the ACC too...backdrop looked just like a clear summer night up here in Gods country. One big constellation..hope they bring it back.

My seats at the ACC ar kind of on a sharp angle but only 5 rows up.
Sec 118, row 5 , seats 3/4.
I hope the side of the stage is 'open' so I can see through if there's screen.
