For all y'all who got tickets to the Ottawa show, how did you fare?
I got section A row 6 seats 1-4.
Not too sure how they're set up. Haven't been to a concert there since late 90's. The sound was aweful back then. The atmosphere was bleak as well.
Have any of you been there recently(for a concert)?
Also, on the floor level.....do the numbers start at 1 or finish at 1? I thought I had great seats at the Civic Centre, until I noticed the numbers were backwards and I actually ended up at the end of the row.
I got my brother tickets for the Ottawa show (he's in school there, and I'm @ school in London...so I hope I can make the trip out there for the show)
Section 117
Row 2
Seats 13-14
Was only going for the 50 dollar tickets, but these seats are damn good for that price range!
Hopefully will see y'all in Ottawa
If not, say hello to my brother...and I will see you in London!
Been there countless times, most recently for the who last month and dylan next week. The sound has gotten better in my estimation, but it's still not a patch on the ACC.
If you're facing the stage, section A is on Robbie's side and C is Paul's side.

Looks like I'm sittin' beside you. A, row 6, seats 5-6.
Somehow the best I could get was section B, row 12. But I didn't get in there right away due to the password difficulties.
Hey Doog.
I would imagine we are in the gold section of section A, shown here:

I am section B, Row 4!
If I remember correctly, the seat numbers go right to left, facing the stage, so if you are seat 1, you are on the right side of the row.
The sound is pretty good, though I'm sure there are better. Last time i was there was Pearl Jam, and i don't remember any wierdness in the sound.

That sucks.
I got tickets right away -- section A, row 4. Just for curiosity, I went back in right after to see where I could get another pair (wanted to see how the ticket distribution worked) and it came up as Section: PEN, row A...anyone else see this?
Capital Tickets site is terrible -- I foresee it crashing on Friday.
I got front row seat 1 and 2 A. It is off to the side but will still be awsome!
GOT MINE!!!!! To make it even better, the girlfriend paid for them!!!
Is it Feb 2nd yet???¿
got b row 4 aswell, what are your row 4 seats gangrel? yea itl be ok, i was disapointed to hear it was at the bank, but i guess i was looking for a more intimate show lol. but the bank aint to bad, seen many a concerts there (The who, clapton, deep purple, bachman/cummings, aerosmith, coming up is bob dylan and guns and roses). sound is good but have heard complaints from people higher up about it being to quiet, will be the biggest venue ive seen the hip at that wasnt outdoors so it will be different.... but cant wait.
I'm Floor A, 8th row... pretty happy with the results considering the Hip website traffic/delay, the fact that I got to work at 9:54, set up my Capitaltickets account by 9:58, and was serving customers while simultaneously refreshing the webpage for an update.
The one problem with Scotiabank Place is the fact that there is 8 lanes of highway and some desolate farm land between the venue and the nearest bar. I'm sure we'll all make do, though... 90 days to go...

If my foggy memory is working, I think we are seat 12 and 13...... or something like that.

Well, actually, there IS Marshy's at SB place, so there's that option. There's also the Kanata Centrum, which is the exit before the arena, and 1 min. away. There's tons of restaurants/bars there........
If some of them are running their shuttle busses, it's worth it to go and use them. Me and my buddies do that for the Sens games, and it sure beats being stuck in the parking lot in yoru car for 45 mins to get out!

Yeah, not so bad. At least we're somewhat close to the magic that is Mr. Baker.
