I'll see what I can do
Sorry Sean,

I coundn't get through..

Didnt wint tickets either! damn!!
What presale will have the best seats up for grabs?

Hip fanclub
House of blues
Radio Station

Im sure everyone wants the floorseats closest to the stage.
Most likely the Hip.com presale will have the best seats, I've also had really good luck with House Of Blues.... radio stations generally do not get the best seats.

Woo Hoo! I just won tickets to the Toronto show on Q107!

I had to answer this question:
The Tragically Hip got the name from a cult film made by this former member of a 60s band. Name the film, artist, and band.
emperor penguin Wrote:Kathleen Edwards will be touring with them, awesome, I wonder if it'll be like the Evening With shows where she sang backup on a few songs
Kathleen Edwards has not toured/performed with The Hip. I think you are confusing her with Kate Fenner.
hefner Wrote:Hip has 1 show scheduled in Saskatchewan, 1 in Manitoba, and 8 in Alberta!?! Can someone please explain this to me?
I have to ask the same question...the small venue dates totally ignore the chunk of Canada that lays between Toronto and Calgary...I was disappointed but I tell myself that they'll make it up on the arena tour. So what happens...a single show in Regina, and one in Winnipeg...what about Brandon, what about Saskatoon?? It just never changes...doesn't "Canada's band" mean all of Canada?

The maritimes should feel slighted too, but I have a feeling that some dates will be added out that way...as for us flatlanders, I guess we just have to live with it...

Congrats Chris, I kept getting the damn busy signal on FM96 this morning.

So my computer at work basically allows me to go anywhere online that i've tried so far, except to buy tickets in the john labatt centre website, which mad me very mad the morning of the bob dylan sale!! So I was wondering if the "First in line" sale would be on the hip's website as it has been in the past, does anyone have any ideas?
Otherwise I might have to take a long and early lunch to get home!

I'm sure this is only a partial list as of what they know so far. I imagine there will be more to come!

The boys sure are making it hard to go to multiple shows. I still haven't paid off these tickets for the Phoenix and now I have to be ready to buy more tomorrow! :?
No Buffalo either...hmmm I wonder when the album will come out here. Just in time for Ozzfest??? Still haven't got my cd from Maple Music yet :x

Yes, I'm quite sure there will be more added. Just wanted that "carrot" dangled out there to look forward to. Smile
I hope thats leg #1... leg #2 = 19 shows in Quebec and East.
I can dream.

On FM96 this morning Paul Langois, when asked about a US tour, said the album gets released March 6th, so they werent going to tour there yet, somewhat hinting it will happen after that.
Those of you wondering about Eastern Canada dates... you could try asking on the Canoe Online Chat that starts in a couple of minutes.
