Wow Tony,

8 shows in 11 days.....and to think 4 Hip shows in 1 year will be a record for me :lol: (hoping to make it 5 shows, but I'll know on Friday)

This year is definitely a record for me: 3 in 4 days (Belleville + Toronto), 5 shows in 7 days in Europe, 4 in 5 days (Toronto) + Stratford = 13 shows this year!

Wow!

I am confident I will score something Friday (I think).... but if not let me be the first to beg all who got tickets... if your non-hip-addict friends can't go or say they have to check availability... just think of me thecompletist for any of the Toronto Shows.

My Oct. 23 Phoenix tickets arrived today!

I was very surprised to see them so soon. I don't want to look, but I probably mailed them xpress by default. I was in such a hurry to complete the form on ticketmaster, I don't think I looked at the mailing option (just checked that it was Canada Post).

Oh well, at least they can't be lost in the mail like my June 24th Fort York tickets were!

I did the same thing, and had the same experience with the Fort York Tickets.

2004 was my biggest year with 13 shows. This year comes in second place at 10 shows.

Some kind soul got me a ticket for the first Phoenix show, which brings me up to four Hip concerts in 2006 (the Fort Yorks, plus Phoenix I and IV...which, alas, is all I can afford). In exchange for this act of kindness, I'll do my best to get a pair for the second or third concerts and then hook up a member in need. Good luck tomorrow, everyone!

nevermind - it is amazing what you can find when you look for yourself :oops:

i went 0fer both in the hip pre-sale tuesday and in the house of blues pre-sale wednesday. given the place holds about a thou i'm thinking it's 50-50 tomorrow.

got a pair for 10/26 through tm. will be seeing 10/23 and 10/26.
