Do any of you walk away from an amazing concert feeling a high, yet feeling low..?? How many of you feel a bit sad that you will never experience that rush that the band feels when they are in front of thousands of fans, entertaining, inspiring, etc.
I don't know where I am going with this, I guess I just want to know if you experience this also, or if I am just abnormal?? 8)
Kinda both it's like the massive amount of energy is lowered , and it's like coming down , sort of stunned after . I feel both , like you. Are you abnormal ? .... Hmmmm....Hey look a Canada Goose ! Just Kiddin .
All depends I guess. The last "Big" show I went to I was so happy that I saw a great show. Later on I was thinking that I will probably not see another good show for a year.
The last big show I went to was Bruce Springsteen. I remember standing in the crowd and thinking " Kim you better enjoy this to the max because you'll probably never see anything like it again".

Afterwards I was happy for the experience and a bit sad that it was over so soon ( soon?...almost 3 hours!..Big Grin )
However the sadness changed to excitement when I realised that this was just the beginning. There's bound to be many more good shows in the future...by Bruce or someone else..

I find myself after any amazing experience I try and reflect on what I've just seen and heard. I'm usually quiet, replaying it in my mind. The high points and all things in between. Whether it's seeing a great Hip show, standing at the ledge looking over the Niagara Falls, being at the championship game of the Canada Cup, or like a couple weeks ago, I was sitting out on a lake having a beer under the stars and a quarter moon and loons started calling. The next day or when I have time I re-absorb it all. Storing it in my memory banks because you don't know what will happen to you tommorow.

High
Nicely put High :thumb:

You're absolutely right!! Thanks, Kim. :thumb:
I didn't hit too much of a low after DMB last night. Sometimes I do after a concert. I guess it is because I know that I (and all of us alike) have to go back to our normal jobs and normal lives. Sometimes, I just wish that I could step into a famous singer's shoes for one concert to feel the rush and excitement. Then, I think, they probably view it as going to their "jobs" too....I am rambling...for I am overtired.

Anyway, grass is always greener on the other side...

Oh, by the way Canuck, I saw that Canada Goose reference..you're asking for it, pal...
