An LBU outake Smile I bet that's going to sound a lot better than they old tape that used to circulate.

I may have to free up some cash for this one.

Cheers,

My heart skipped a beat for a second there, because the next North Myrtle Beach show (10.26.04) was my first show, and I don't think there are any copies of it floating around. Still, I will probably end up getting that track.
This is going to drive me nuts....

Courage from Live 10, Vol. 3 is listed with an unknown date, but I know I've heard the following mid-rant before:

"The lawyer went up to the mountain community.
The lawyer went up to the mountain community.
To convince the parents of a school-bus crash to launch suit
Against the school-bus company, the town, anyone....."

My original thoughts were from a European show, but I really can't recall...

Anybody?

That rant would be part of the plot for the Sweet Hereafter movie directed by Atom Egoyan (sp?) back in 1996 or 1998, I believe. I can't remember if any Hip songs were used in the soundtrack but I think Atom and the band have colloborated in the past.
It is from a European show, I just have to look into which one. It's from their May '97 run, if I'm not mistaken.

Courage was used in the Sweet Hereafter. This is where Sarah Polley's version comes from.

Cheers,

Pat
listened to some of V3 on the drive to work...awesome selections MAv...some VERY cool stuff on this one....but I too want/need to know where that courage is from...I hate not being able to match a specific song with a show...I'm sure MAv will provide some more info if he has it...

on a related note...I downloaded the set at home, but my printer at home is kinda f'd up right now...is there any way to save the artwork to my hard drive and email it or whatever so that I can print it at work? I tried to print it from itunes at work, but it says i've gotta download a song to get the artwork, and it doesn't allow you to download a song more than once, etc...anyone with some itunes experience able to shed some light on this for me?

My Favorite hip Song: Locked

My birthday: 11/23

It doesn't get any better!
I am 100% positive.
Courage is from the 2000.06.08 in London, England.

Mystery solved.

Just compared them, and not the same recordings. On Live 10, Vol. 3, Gord yells "Courage!" once when the song starts in. On the bootleg, the intro goes, "Courage, Courage...what's that got to do with it?"

Mystery continues.....
I was joking....
But NOW I'm 100% confident that it is from May 1st, 1997 - London, England

Mystery Solved!
