Yikes. Not to be missed. Is the Foo's latest tour all accoustic?
That's gonna be something....last night's show was amazing, totally different sound than the rock stuff, with 8 musicians on stage, it made for great music
and Dave Grohl loves to talk, always has some funny stories to tell
Foos are on an acoustic tour yes, with a few rock shows here and there
the foos are good acoustic, but i'd rather see them plugged in and rockin out...it's just not the same when they're not....disc 2 of in your honor bores me.
Seen Dylan 15 times.......Foo Fighters 0
will definitely get tix to both Ottawa and Toronto!

It's too bad you feel that way. Disc 2 has some amazing stuff on it, and I think it really demonstrates how talented Dave is as a songwriter. I love the loud rock as much as the next guy, but the Foos are not a one-dimentional band.

agreed..i think disc 2 will hold up better in the future than disc 1...and it sounded amazing live
I'm looking forward to seeing the Foos just as much as to seeing his holy Bobliness.

hes' great live eh!..............just wish he would finally give up the damn keyboard of late.............not quite the same seeing him stuck behind it compared to out front with his guitar...............I don't think he's picked up his guitar on stage for over two years now
Not since 2003, I think. I have heard some boots of his summer tour this year and he is doing all new arrangements vs last year but he is still on the keyboard. I am kinda hoping that the new album may inspire him to go back to guitar. I did note that he doesn't seem to be playing harp at the moment, either.
I'll be seeing him in Rochester at the end of this month.

Great to see other Dylan fans on board here!
Like I said, I've seen him about 15 times now, but I have had a dry spell of about 1 1/2 years now...longest I've gone in a long while! :x
New Dylan CD and a new Hip CD all within about a month of each other WOO HOO HOO :thumb:
October 29 in St Paul has the Foos opening too. That may be worth the drive from Thunder Bay.
Cheers,
Pat
In Your Honor Disk 2 is amazing, I'll agree. Razor is my favourite and it is the tune I use on my alarm clock, Disk 1 is great for getting pumped up, pop in disk 2 and you can decompress...the best album I've bought in years...
