Alright, so my piece of crap car was in the shop all day and I needed to kill some time, so I went to see a matinee for this flick, and low and behold I enjoyed every silly minute of it! It had everthing I expected: ridiculous plot, cheesy dialogue, excessive violence/gore, gratuitous nudity, a couple of genuine jump-out-of-your-seat moments, Sam Jackson playing Sam Jackson, and of course, a plane load of poisonous snakes. Comedy gold, my friends!
Your review pretty much sums it up. Most fun I've had at the movie theater this year.
Who needs Empire magazine??
I wouldn't mind seeing that, but I think I would be on my own considering my wife's squeamishness...
Although i did take the 4 year old to see Cars yesterday, I even started to fill up near the end, so possibly I shouldn't go see SOAP either...

This movie is too funny to make you feel squeamish. Best movie I have seen this year.
can't wait to see this...i recently started a shitty punk(ish, we're kinda metal too) band called "The Shitfits", and our first original song is called "Snakes On A Plane"...and it's about...you guessed it...snakes on a plane! haha!

I was told this is too terrible to miss. A film that you'll think less of yourself for seeing, but will then tell all your friends to go see.

The guy starred in Snakes on a Plane. Something tells me has a good sense of humor and doesn't take himself too seriously. He probably loved the Chapelle skit.
What a fun movie. You don't see that much pure carnage and slaughter at the movies much any more. The entire theatre clapped and cheered at Sam's famous line.
