watching Six Feet Under again on DVD, and the 2nd to last episode has All Apologies by Nirvana, and it's just perfect for the mood...gives me chills everytime i see it...
Sticking with SFU, I thought the use of Sia's Breathe Me in the series finale was pure brilliance. It's pretty rare that I get choked up watching TV, but man, the rec room sure was dusty that night.
The Final Countdown in Arrested Development. Every single time.
One Thing by Finger 11 was used in an episode of ER. The scene was the perfect use for that song.

Actually, for a while there, ER was using a ton of great songs for their "flashback" montages. It was a great use of some amazing songs.
One of my all time favorite shows "Made in Canada" (with Rick Mercer) used The Hip's "Blow at High Dough". It was perfect for the show, and what it stood for.
Another vote here goes for the Final Countdown in Arrested Development. It's my ringtone.
Massive Attacks Teardrop on the opening of House M.D.
Last year I thought I saw a pilot for a new show................only saw one episode, but never heard or saw it again........

The concept of the show was that it had a basic cast but every episode story was based and written around an album.....

The one I saw was an episode based on Springsteen's Tunnel Of Love Album..........

Anyone else see this or remeber this?? Or am I hallucinating again....I hate when that happens.......
There was an episode of Cold Case that focused on the music of Springsteen, including Tunnel of Love. Could that have been what you saw?

Another vote for The Final Countdown. Pure comedic genius..."and now, a magician named Gob."
House has had GREAT music in the second season, one particular episode ended with Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah, I got a little choked up even

Also, Entourage does a really good job too
"In the Air Tonight" on Miami Vice. Yes, the one by Phil Collins. With the slow pan on the car hood... nice.

Oh man that one is a classic, completely forgot about it :thumb:

Okay, maybe a bit corny, but how about the season finale for Seinfeld?? The first 1/2 hour was a clip show before the episode actually began. At the end of the clip section they showed a bunch of outtake reels while playing Green Days "Good Riddance"...............thought it was very fitting.........................................even though the finale itself blew donkey dorks
