Another band I follow around just joined this "organization"
They take used guitar strings from a group and make barcelets out of them.
Most of the money goes to charities.
I would love to get a bracelet made from The Hip's strings.
You can choose which member of the group's string you would like, Paul, Gord, Rob or Gord for example.
Check them out:

Pretty cool idea...I wonder what kind of cert of authenticity you get though...The price tag is a little steep too at $99-199 a bracelet, even if all the profits go to charity

So yes, there is still a trust issue - but:
How do I know these string are really from the artist I specified?
As the artists change their strings they send them directly Steve Bernstein, the publisher of Relix Magazine. From there the strings are sent to the designer at Azu Studio, where they are crafted into a high quality bracelet. We, at both Relix and Azu, guarantee the authenticity of your bracelet. There are two ways to prove your RELIX BAND's authenticity. The first is the Silver Seal, the designer's guarantee and the second is a signed statement of authenticity, included with each purchase.
I'd be on board! Granted, I like gimmickey things, so I suppose I'm not a good indicator...

If I had Robs strings around my wrists..I'd, I'd, I'd....

I'd love one....but the price really is steep. It would be pretty tough to justify that purchase in the budget....
I think thats an outstanding idea! Perhaps a little steep, but justified if proceeds are directed to charity. I think i'd be onboard if the price was at the low end of that scale.
Another idea for hipbase merch perhaps, or hip merch in general would be a stamped leather bracelet/cuff bracelet.

Another would be a patch, a 20th anniversary patch, to be more specific, this may be a longshot, but I thought a ring with TTH in the NHL shield would be cool, with a look kinda like those highschool/graduation rings., but I'd go for one of those bracelets, think I might go as hi as $50 bonez, ah, I'd prawly end up paying whatever they asked for

A little too pricey
Hard to justify a grown man buying a bracelet for over $100 bucks that isnt for the old lady or made of the bling !
I already made a Hip bracelet, though one of the As is upside down.
I'd go for the bracelet or the ring.
or the Cereal for that matter.
