Anyone have a guess at how hard it would be to get tix for this show? I know it is long sold out but I was toying with the idea of driving to Chicago and trying to get a ticktet or two.....

Yeah, I just saw that on Sammy's website today - that's quite a coup for them. Do they get any radio play in the States?

ebay has a couple....plus certainly there will be people selling them outside. I would take the risk, who knows....maybe the venue will release some more tix the day of the show

Quite the roadtrip for some.
We will be there from Sunday....leaving Wednesday.
Seeing a play, Wicked, on Sunday......then a ball game on Tues (Sox vs Orioles).
So our trip is booked.
Any suggestions on any other things to do?

if the weather is nice and there is nothing else to do, there is an outdoor bar called castaways down at the lake. they usually have live music from about 1:00 pm or so. if you are looking for culture the shedd aquarium is the oldest aquarium in the country. also the field museum and the planetarium are very close. the art institute of chicago (as seen in ferris buehler's day off) is very nice if you like that sort of stuff.
