That's right... popping the cherry this weekend at the June 24th show at Fort York. I've been a fan of the Hip for a while now, but I havn't made it to a show... so I guess I can't really call myself a "fan" until I see them live!

Ya, I was thinking of hitting up Stratford... it's so close to London ON, it would be a shame not to go.
Do you or anyone else know if they allow camping at the Stratford concert or if a campground is near by?
Use protection and enjoy! :thumb:

If you take Highway 7 up to Stratford from London, about halfway just past St.Mary's there's a campsite called Wildwood. That's would be your best bet.

I remember the first time I saw the Hip at Ont Place in '91. We met these super cool guys that kept making fun of us because we were "Hip Virgins". They kept calling us that all night. Of course I was only 17 at the time and "borrowed" the car from my parents since they were conveniently out of town. Fortunately, that night turned me into a Hip slut, considering the # of shows I've been to since then. Now, everytime I see them, I think about how nothing can compare to your first experience with the hip. I hope you have the same great memories that I got from my first time. Enjoy the show!!!
Congrats on your first Hip show cherry, but just to warn you it wont be a slow gentle experience.
It'll be hard, raw and in your face......
EWWWWW!

p.s: dont forget the lube!
Ahhh man first show. Awesome times man! Be prepared for anything and everything. My voice is still fu*ked from Lewiston on Saturday. Good times. Good times. Let us know how you fare!
Be prepared to have your mind blown. There are only a small handfull of bands out there who could lay claim to the title of "best live band in the world", and the Hip are one of them. Enjoy the show!

My 1st show was also at the Ont. Place Forum in 1991. The Hip played 3 nights in a row, I went to the 2nd night, and had so much fun, I went back the next night to catch the final show. Which show were you at jamseyb?
