Hey all,
I just heard on the radio that the hip are coming out with a new album this fall! What does this mean for touring I wonder?? :thumb: :thumb:

Come on! Are you kidding? It doesn't seem to follow the boys' "scheme of things". If so, friggin' awesome! :thumb:
They can't release an album they haven't recorded yet...recording in the fall, new album next year.

Sounds alittle more realistic to me.
Well that's what I heard on fm96. Maybe the guy ment to say recording in the fall. But he said coming out with in the fall.
everything you hear on the radio has to be taken with a grain of salt
My guess is the guy got mized up. I bet its recording in the fall, release in the spring/summer
Read in a article on canoe.ca two days ago (an interview with Gord) that the band is writing and jamming now, will record in the fall, will release in the spring of 2004.

I read the same interview on on Canoe.ca and they are recording this fall and there will a new album in the spring of 2004. GO Hip!
I hope this means another concert in Amsterdam

They seem to have gotten a well-established pattern in the post-DFN era. Studio album in spring/summer of even-numbered years, tour the remainder of the year (and possibly into the following year), take most of the rest of the odd numbered year off, record new album in late fall/winter, release in the spring summer, etc. They've done that for almost ten years now. I'd gamble on a spring/summer '04 release.
