Here's my summer hobbie:

and then I cook with it and eat it or give it away.
as yet undecided my ass, we all know that's where you're gonna put the "wacky tobacky" Tongue
So is your hobby gardening or making schematic drawings of random gardens?

My hobby's: hipfans.com/thehundredthmeridian.com, golf, video editing, and cycling. Girls used to be a hobby, but now that I'm in a relationship it's no longer a hobby.
Cool, Never pegged ya for a gardener, must be relaxing...
If you burn a couple of old mattresses down to just the frame and springs you grow your "wacky tabacky"plants up through them and it keeps most wildlife from eating them. Although seeing Bambi baked is pretty entertaining. Just a little tip from my Uncle.

As far as hobbies go I like farming, golf and boobies. I just started buying hockey cards again. Sure hope I get a Gretzky rookie card.
Please tell me you are a good cook MAv?
Gardening is one thing but if you are just growing things and then don't know how to use them...well, that's another sin altogether!
very impressive garden

my hobby, collecting hip boots, road trips
Writing the Great American Novel, which thus far has suffered from being neither American nor Great. I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt on the Novel part.

Strumming my gay guitar -- not that my guitar's sexual orientation is any of your business, or, in fact, mine.

Fishing. Documentary photography. Documentary photography about fishing. Fishing for cameras dropped while doing documentary photography about fishing. Taking pictures of people fishing for cameras.....

And very geekily, when I have time: flight simulators.
Writing subpar creative non-fiction and short stories.

Theatre going, directing when offered, occassional readings and auditions.

Swimming. I want to get back into competition shape, but beer, ice cream and my over indulgence in sushi are hampering that effort.

Granted, all of the aforementioned activities are superseded by my job search/relocating. I wouldn't have it any other way! :thumb:

Dont have much going on for real "hobbies" these days, marriage can do that to you.. Growing up it seemed like I had more hobbies, mostly cause of the extra time I had. I used to make dioramas (dont laugh), and I painted lots of figurines, mostly war, but also fantasy ones as well. Maybe someday Ill get back into that, I'd like to do a LOTR themed one someday.

Now video games are tops for me, sounds geeky but Ive been a hardcore gamer since I was born, why stop now? But since the nice weather is back that's taking a backseat to more outdoor activities, I mountain bike a fair bit, I play soccer on weekends and when I have time I golf (or at least try to). I really enjoy music, the stereo is always on in my house and car, and I read the occasional book, I used to read so much more, its something Ive let slip. Me and wife go camping, swimming and fish in the summertime alot.

Can I cook? Well, yes, actually, I'm quite good.

ok, well: programming, databases, photography, videos, art, reading and gardening
Very Cool, looks like you have a nice chuck of property.

Since we are on the topic
hipbase
Coin Collecting
Metal Dectecting (I know, they are both old man hobbies)
Music and Concerts (Podcast and Vodcasting included)
And I want to get a RC Plane (Not sure why, they just look like fun)
Most of my hobbies have been put on the back burner and replaced with 'time with the boys' (Jake, 4 tomorrow & Patrick, 16 months)

My newest hobby is resorting my cd rack after Patrick has pulled everything from 'P' to 'Z' off onto the floor :-)

I also volunteer for a Coastguard search and rescue team (48 jobs this year) which means I get some me time going to training.

I also used to read a lot of fiction, but with my job I find it is more and more work related books and publications, as there is always something new and interesting to learn about the human body (Ever heard about Mongolian spots? Me neither till yesterday, but an eceptionally useful bit of info. Go google!)

My whole life will be put on back burner come August the 16th (ish) when newest addition to the Detrious brood arrives, and my new hobby will be @trying to get some sleep'

D

When I was younger I had a couple of RC cars, and my Big Brother (Big Brother's of Canada...) had about 15 RC planes. And they don't just look like fun; they are fun!
