I love how he acted like such a rockstar with the Canadian anthem. Or maybe he just forgot the words like he did in the American one.
actually, the chanting drowned him out to start the american anthem. then the crowd did one of the classiest things I've ever seen and sang your anthem with him.
in the prior series, the fans unexpectedly took over our anthem (to his surprise) which created a big stir up north here.
i've been waiting since then for an oiler home game hoping they would do the same - i really wanted to record it. that's the version posted above.
the canucks were doing that years ago :thumb:
maybe if the canucks made the playoffs, they could be doing it this year too
