Speaking of this whole going to NYC to practice. I dont get it. Is NYC really a good city to get away from it all? I understand the team wants to practice in the Eastern Time Zone. But NYC?

Not really in NYC.

someplace called Tallytown or Tarrytown, or something. It's the Rangers' practice facility. not directly in the city, and to be perfectly honest, I don't know where the heck it is.

I think it is a wise decision. gets them as far away as possbile from the Edmonton hoopla. this time of year, they can;t even go out and buy groceries without getting hounded. it's almost rock-star the attention they are getting.

this way, they already have the major travel day done, they are away from distraction, and can focus on winning (which they will), and now Carolina is a short plane ride away instead of an all day adventure.
