Yeah, I'd enjoy to hear Gord's version in anticipation of those high notes! Kd Lang performed a piercing version at the Junos a few years back. And Jeff Buckley also performed a decent Hallelujah! Very cool indeed!

IMO, it is a very heartfelt and impressive vocal performance by Gord.

Jamie, thank you for sending me that song. I really enjoy it! Gord sings it with a lot of emotion as he should. I felt as if I had already heard the song before. As I was playing the song my kids were listening to it from the other room, also. They immediately yelled out that this song is from the first Shrek soundtrack (sung by Rufus Wainwright). That's why it's so familiar.
