I went and saw ol' Willie last night. It was an entertaining show, I was impressed. I got a REAL kickin shirt, I'll take some pics and post it later.
My parents went to see him in Charlottetown, and they enjoyed themselves as well...said Nitty Gritty Dirty Band's set was very good as well. I thought about going, but decided not to.
I saw him last last year when he was in these parts. Decent show, great to hear all the classics live that we all know so well. Not as much energy as I expected. It was amusing(and disturbing) to watch all the 60+ women in the front row throwing their bras on stage.
he's not my favourite, but Willie Nelson is the shit, he's up there with the likes of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.
