Having spent many a drunken night in Sudbury growing up on the mean streets of the "South End", where would one go in town now to even see a good "bar band"?? Is the Townhouse still cranking out good music?
the Townehouse is just as rockin as ever...
for a little while we had 100 Georges, which was a beautiful bar right down town, and they had a lot of great bands play there in the short period of time in which they were open, but apparently they were tax evading and got shut down...
Club 7 was sweet too, they had tons of killer metal, indie, punk, hardcore, ect bands come through, then somebody smashed their windows and they were too poor to fix them and it closed as well
I'm somewhat ashamed to say, Sudbury can be awfully retarded sometimes  ...
but if you ask Don Cherry he'll tell you we're the best hockey fans in the world :thumb: ... and we are (except for the ones who cheer for the Leafs, which is probably about 60%...see what i mean about Sudbury being retarded sometimes? lol!)

they do killer versions of NOIS (exteneded jam with "Shakin All Over" thrown in), Little Bones, Werewolf Baby, Cordelia, The Wherewithal, and Blow At High Dough, not to mention some CCR, Ramones, Metallica, Sabbath, Johnny Cash, Pearl Jam, Headstones, Guns 'n' Roses, The Doors, and all the other greatness.
So very True... but the Lead singer has retired to the West I believe. He really loves the Doors - The West Is The Best..
actually, the lead singer is my cousin
cratch: and he's definately not retired, haha!
Well retired from regular gigs in sudbury. Married and moved away is all. I've been friends with Steve, Luc & Rob for about 15 years now....great family! Paolo just moved back to the rock also...you related to him also?
cheers

dude, you must be thinking of the wrong band, because the HHG are Jonothan, Harley, Trevor, my cousin Keith, and the new drummer (old drummer Glenn recently moved to Korea to teach English)...
Dude, the lead singer of the Original HHG was Steve N ...I thought anyways... I think he gave me a CD once even. I've seen them live before.... unless they continued on after he left Sudbury? or did he just sing with them I wonder for abit ??
