I lost interest in them about 6 years ago, and saw this CD on special at Best Buy... and couldn't resist.

I'm a huge Radiohead fan, yet I admit I wasn't too thrilled with Hail to the Thief at first. It was definitely one of those cd's that got better the more I listened to it. But now I love it. So don't write it off quite yet Chris Chris, give it another chance!

Hail To The Theif was one of my favourite albums from '03. Couldn't get enough of it....as for the new Franz Ferdinand, I still haven't got into that one, which is a shame cause their first album kicked ass :thumb:

I think Ill go with The Killers-Hot Fuss. Its not a terrible cd, but I like it alot less now than when I bought it, I hardly listen to it anymore.

The latest Broken Social Scene. There are three or four great songs on this disc ("7/4 Shoreline" is an amazing tune), but the rest of it is way too arty for it's own good and a lot of the tunes get bogged down with too much excess noise. "You Forgot it in People" was a great record, and I still think they're a very unique and interesting band, but I just can't get into the new album. Somewhere some indie-rock geek is cursing my name as I type this.

I would go with Jet, "Get Born." Although it was pretty good fun to play "guess the influence" as I listened to it. When *I* recognize what song you're ripping off, you've got a problem!

"All That I Am" by Santana
But anyone who hasn't heard the instrumental track called, "Trinity" with Kirk Hammett, should get on that immediately.
Download "Trinity" Immediately.
Do not pass Go.
Do not collect $200.

Best: Common - Be
Worst: DMB - Weekend at the Rocks. Ok, well I didn't buy it but I got it for Christmas at my request. I will be the first to say I have no idea what I was thinking...

The music is awesome, but I really did not like the screaming, that just ruined it.

Couldn't agree with you more. I don't listen to much Hip Hop anymore but I still cling to some of those great artists: K-OS, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, etc.
