I found this line interesting: *'First in Line' ticket purchases limited to Tier 1(Seated) tickets for this show.

Yeah I am not sure I understand why the FIL ticketing would be limited to just the tier 1 seating? I mean, don't get me wrong, that is great news for hip fans who choose to use the Presale because you will be getting the closest seats but why just the closest seats? Maybe there was some stipulation from ArtPark?

The email says tickets are limited to Tier 1 (seated). Does that mean all seated or tier 1? There are also "prime" and "grand tier" seats that are even closer than "tier 1". Or is there no comparison between "tier 1" and "first tier" cratch:

Oh, and by the way how does this work? Is this legit? $170 a ticket that you can buy now! Reeks of shiat!

i was wondering about this also.
does anybody who knows the venue know how the tiers work? if the best seats aren't availible for the first in line presale then i'd probably rather take my chances with the general sale.

Seeing that the Tier 1 seating starts at Row V (that's like...a,b,c,d...22 rows back), I think i will also wait until the public sale for better seats.

Only been to Artpark once way back when, don't really remember the venue, but Row V is Row V...too far back that I would like to sit.

after reading the email again it seems like tier 1 includes ALL seating. check thehip.com... there are 2 prices - tier 1 and lawns.
