Is it just me or is anyone else disgusted and ashamed at the train wreck that just took up 2 hours of my life? The sound quality was terrible the band's performances were unlistenable and it looked as though no one had rehearsed... Remember when the Juno's used to be more than a Joke? SAD!
How did Neil Young, Plaskett, or Sexsmith not walk away with "Songwriter of the Year"?
Did the BSS singer diss a popular Toronto band? It sounded like it but I could hardly hear with all the noise in the room.

I'm admittedely very tone deaf, and I think I could have sang better than the guy from Broken Social Scene, I've never heard of them up untill last night and after that preformance I'm glad I haven't. How does a band with a lead singer thats that bad get a record deal. And that performance by Hedley at the end was almost as bad. Luckilly I missed the Black Eyed Peas.
Yeah i thought Broken Social Scene were horrible.
I quit watching after Pam's opening monologue. It seemed to me like the entire show was pieced together last minute. Ben Mulroney? Get lost!
Well, I didn't watch and I'm pretty happy that I didn't. Award shows almost always suck. Occasionally, an awesome host can make it suck a little less but I didn't think Pam Anderson had the talent to pull the Juno fat out of the fire. I understand she made a joke about the "Great Canadian Beaver."

I just don't get these hip hop morons. What do they want to make them happy? Do they need to be carried out on stage on a throne and lavished with praises? How much credit do they need? There were only six or seven awards given out during the Juno telecast and Divine Brown and Massari both performed. Why is hip hop so much more worthy than other types of music? ie Why does Kardinal Offishal think he's so damn important?
The Junos are garbage for a multitude of reasons but the lack of respect for the hip hop genre is not one of them.

I was hoping Neil Young might make a surprise appearance, with him missing out on last years Juno's for health reasons & since he was nominated - and won 2 - for some awards last night, but no such luck. I was very glad to see Bryan Adams rewarded last night & can't wait to see him live Wednesday night!
i'm kinda glad i missed the whole thing and forgot to tape, might have been my best decision of the year
