When I listen to the song I hear "...singing about Music" not "...singing about Matches". When they sing about the Stereophonics I hear the word Matches, but for the part about Tragically Hip the word matches is changed to music I believe. (but my ears have been wrong before, lol)
I'll be on the level... I haven't heard the song, it just came up on a search. If it is music, it may be slightly harder to narrow down.

I just looked up the lyrics on the internet too and it is written as "matches" everywhere I saw as well, but after listening to the song myself a few times to check it, i'm pretty sure it is "music" 8) Guess the lyrics sites got it wrong this time.
