Cuse caught a team on a roll and everyone was commenting on this one as an upset, take heart, ummm there's always next year. My comment about Zaga is still holding true, Morrison showed he can close, now if the rest of the team could show up for the next few games they can at least get to the sweet 16

Okay, okay - I'm honestly not crying in my beer here --- but HOLY SHITE, the late games last night were pretty damn good! I had duke, mem, tx, and zaga picked --- so the outcomes killed any chance I had for a winning bracket but the late game endings more than made up for the early games blah-factor. Fun watching for sure...

The duke game sucked as both teams played sloppy... Unfortunately, that was my biggest mistake this year - I had absolutely no doubts in my mind that they'd make it all the way to the end. Talk about being wrong... All that talk about them being a one-man team was proved last night. All they had to do was block Redick & there ya go.

Anyway, seeing the way things went down last night -- it'll be fun to see what happens with BC & NOVA... And what about Washington - whoever thought they would have made it to meet up with UCON?!!

I didn't have a chance to watch any of the games last night as our cable has been disconnected (don't ask) but from your description Sarah, it looks like I missed some great late games. I was surprised to get into work this morning to find that Zaga had been knocked out. I had Duke and Zaga for the final four. Guess that means I am out too eh? Hehehe.

But seriously, good on UCLA for coming back and it sounds like the Texas game was good too!

If it makes you feel any better, so did I. I also have UCON & NOVA to make it that far - but I'll be honest with ya ---- I came so damn close to picking Boston to go all the way. Now that my bracket is worth nothing (LOL) I'd love to see them take it. I'm sorry you missed the UCLA/ZAGA game bc Zaga really played great the entire game to lose it like that in the end. Actually, it was pretty sad... Nonetheless it was GREAT BALL. The way things went down last night - I wouldn't be surprised if there ends up being another couple of major upsets tonight!!! UCON & NOVA anyone?????...do boston and wash have what it'll take???? I think Boston for sure. I know my father will be a happy man if Wash can pull it out - but I dunno.

Usually the points you score in the first round (if a lot) carry you through the rest of the pool. But that isn't always the way it plays out. :roll:
