What a day................
First Pearl Jam announces the first leg of their tour which I'll be attending 4 shows.

Then David Gilmour's new solo cd is released, and for the coup de grace.......

I received over 200 HIP shows that I purchased from Lance! PLus a few DVD's and a T-Shirt, THANKS LANCE

I used to have a collection of around 100 shows, a lot of them obtained through Rory (thanks, man!) But I ended up getting rid of roughly 75% of them. I realized that I only ever listened to the soundboard recordings anyway, so those are the ones I decided to keep. I still have a modest collection of about 20 shows on CD. If the Hip continue with the live download series, I'll keep getting them as long as they're A+ quality.

The way Pearl Jam does it is absolutely perfect, because you have the option of picking the show (or shows) that you were at and buying those specifically, Or you can just go crazy and buy 'em all. It's an incredibly cool concept.

Ahhh i see. I never make it to the downloads part of the site anymore. I figured it was another heavyweight collector abandoning his collection i am sad to say.
