happy times and travels to you both. also, having been in a long-distance relationship myself for quite a long time - i have to agree with what's been said previously - as long as there is a solid commitment btwn you two, the distance thing isn't so hard. enjoy & have SOOOO much fun.

Once again, congratulations!

I am happy about this for two reasons.

For one, it's good to see two hipbasers get together and hopefully find some happiness.

My far more selfish reason, however, is that there will (hopefully) no longer be threads where every guy on hipbase awkwardly (and to great creepy effect) hits on Jenna!

A happy day.

You know, when I came up with the idea for this thread and ran it by Jenna, the intent was more or less to have a little fun with y'all, with a good dose of shock value and whatnot....

But after reading all your touching remarks, I feel a little guilty for taking that flippant approach. You guys are a class bunch, and your initial words of encouragement and your ensuing congratulatory responses have truly given me pause...and no, that's not sarcasm. Jenna and I are both quite flattered and very appreciative of your kind sentiments.

What's most arresting (and I'm confident that I can speak on her behalf) is that we both feel we've stumbled upon something quite fantastic here - that we've uncovered a treasure that had lain cloaked in the thinnest of sands just beneath our feet. It seems almost miraculous to us that our paths had drawn so close, only to run abreast of one another for such considerable distance before finally meeting at this marvelous juncture. All we see ahead is but one path, and it stretches to the horizon.

She made mention of it earlier; this forum is to thank for our future travels.
