That sounds pretty sweet! Axl's voice sounds pretty good. I hope the new album rocks. All this waiting for nothing would be pretty depressing.

as much as i like axl, and i think that demo sounds cool, i'm not holding my breath for an official release of it, or an entire cd anytime soon

I think it sounds pretty good, but let's not kid ourselves. This ain't Guns N' Roses. It's Axl and a revolving door of hired studio musicians. I understand he's still trying to cling to his past, but seriously, why keep the same band name when it's not even close to being the same band. To me that's just plain silly. Why doesn't he just call it what it is: an Axl Rose solo album.

So...did Axl finally bury "Chinese Democracy" ?

You know listening to the start of "Better" I thought it was a joke until you hear Axl singing! I like it!

...but like the rest of you, I am not holding my breath for a release anytime soon!

No, these are tracks he's working on for that album, and has been working on for years and years and years. He's sort of like Brian Wilson with SMiLE, except Brian Wilson isn't a self-absorbed douchebag.

There was a small blurb on Axl in Rolling Stone (the one with Kanye) where he was spotted @ a Korn CD release party. Coolest thing about it was he was wearing a Maple Leaf's Jersey. I think it was a Tucker Jersey.

The article said that he "hopes" to release Chinese this year. I'm not holding my breath.
