Hi all,
My husband's uncle just had surgery for pancreatic cancer and while they were in there they found cancer in his lymph nodes. Has anyone had family or friends that have gone through this type of cancer? It doesn't sound too promising for him. Cry I was just wondering if anyone knew first hand of what to expect???
Thanks,
-Jen
Sorry Jen, I can't help you out there, I don't have any personal experience with lymphoma.
If it was lung cancer you were curious about, I could have helped you out Cry

Good luck with everything, I hope your husband's uncle pulls through.

Kim
Thanks Kim Smile

Sorry Jen, I don't have any information for you either. Just would like to express my sympathy for your husbands Uncle and family. Cry Good luck to him and your family. Keep your chins up. I find that in times like these its best to stick together and find stuff to laugh about. It may not feel right, but it is the best medicine.

Thanks for your thoughts  Fortunately his uncle is very optimistic, so we are trying to be also...even though the stats don't look promising. We will see. Maybe he will beat it :|

I'm very sorry Jen, but I can't help you either. We take a good health for granted, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Cry
I hope you'll all find the strength to pull through..

I only know it's a bad kind of cancer Jen (Of course every kind is bad), but they are finding ways to fight the disease better and better. Hope your uncle will be cured soon!
Thanks again to all of you for the well wishes..I do appreciate it!! I will keep you posted. Jen
Jen, care to give us a latest update on the situation? Hope things are ok.
